The American Pitch would like to thank all the fans that voted Seattle Reign midfielder, Kim Little as The American Pitch NWSL Player of the Month for April.
Little has been a dominant force for the Reign all season and has been a crucial part of the team starting off the year 5-0-0. With many games a head of the squad, Little will be called upon to continue her current run of form.
The Seattle midfielder has scored four goals over four games to hold the title of leading goal scorer for the month of April. Two of her four goals have come from penalty kicks and she has managed to score all four goals during only 355 minutes of action.
Since tallying two goals in her NWSL debut back on April 13 against the Boston Breakers, Little has proven that she is capable of making the transition from European soccer to the NWSL just fine. Two weeks later, Little would add her third and fourth goals in a 2-0 road win against the Houston Dash.
If Little continues to dominate for the rest of the season, it can be safe to assume that the Seattle Reign will be heading to a NWSL Championship title game at the end of the season.
