MLS Week 12 Preview

Week 12 of the MLS season (May 21-25) brings us the first full week of action without the 26 men chosen for the World Cup’s provisional squads.

Week 11 saw weekend action without the WC call-ups, and the likes of Jermain Defoe, Eddie Johnson and Obafemi Martins all found the back of the net – the three most considered as the league’s top World Cup snubs.

Columbus, Salt Lake City, San Jose, and Seattle will be hurt the most by June’s World Cup, as each squad is set to lose 3 players to the tournament.
