It has finally happened, the wait it officially over, fans can finally know what Jurgen Klinsmann has been thinking.
The USMNT 23-man roster has been officially announced and boy are the American people all fired-up.
The biggest news of the 23 selected, is that Landon Donovan, was not selected by Klinsmann. There had already been speculation that Donovan would not make the final 23, but most fans thought he would find a way to sneak on the plane.
Besides Donovan, six other players were left off the final roster. Those players are, Michael Parkhurst, Brad Evans, Joe Corona, Terrence Boyd, Clarence Goodson and Maurice Edu.
While Twitter explodes with the news about Donovan not making the final 23, fans should really be looking ahead to the players that did make the roster. Obviously there are many fans upset right now, but the decision has been made. This is the end of an era that gave U.S. soccer fans numerous memories.
The USMNT will have a new look and feel to it, there is no doubting that. New, inexperienced players will get their chance to prove their worth to Klinsmann and potentially win the hearts of U.S. Soccer fans worldwide.
