The 2014 MLS season is almost back in full swing. It is understandable that the World Cup is taking up everyone’s time, but with MLS action returning, that only means one thing…MLS Fantasy Soccer Manager returns.

The American Pitch always does our best to offer advice and tips on each week of MLS Fantasy Soccer action. If you ever have questions, feel free to comment below and we will respond as soon as possible.

This week of MLS action has two teams playing double matches, but should you invest in players from both teams? Find out below and see what other advice we have for your MLS  Fantasy Soccer team.

Tip #1: Vancouver Whitecaps, Montreal Impact Play Double Matches…Avoid Impact Players.

Normally when a team plays two matches in a week, fans will jump on the chance to get as many players from those teams as possible. In the case of round 16, you do not want to invest in any Impact players. The Impact play the Whitecaps and Houston Dynamo, which translates into two losses. Obviously upsets are possible, but very unlikely for the struggling Impact.

The Whitecaps have an incredibly talent midfielder named, Pedro Morales. He has 84 total points in MLS Fantasy. His current price is $8.8 Million. Not to bad, considering how well he is producing on the field right now. David Ousted, the teams goalkeeper would also be a solid pick-up for the two match week. He has 54 points in MLS Fantasy.

Tip #2: The Chicago Fire Have A Bye Week.

It may seem like common sense, yet people still forget about which teams and players have off weeks. If you want to stock up on any Fire players, your best bet would be Forward Harrison Shipp. He is cheap ($6.5 Mil) and has 81 total MLS Fantasy points this season. He is on my fantasy team and will always start if the Fire are playing.

Tip #3: Unlimited Transfers This Week.

Yes you did read correctly, MLS Fantasy Soccer has unlimited transfers this week. If you feel like wasting those transfers on just players that have double matches this week, fine…but honestly, why not take the golden opportunity to redo your entire team? Many MLS Fantasy experts recommend revamping and selected a lot of the leagues hottest players right now. If you can work out the math for how to get most of them on your squad, why not go for them?

Tip #4: Dom Dwyer, Bradley Wright-Phillips, Diego Valeri, Drew Moor and Luis Robles Are Must Haves.

Each player listed above is playing this coming week…so why not make sure each is on your MLS Fantasy team? These player have found their form and will only get better as the season continues on. If you are looking for points, make sure each of the players listed above is on your squad. The only negative about some of the players, is there price.

Dwyer-$8.3……….Wright-Phillips-$8.0………Valeri $10.6……..Moor-$7.9………Robles-$6.1.
