Matchday 2 – Groups A and B
Netherlands – 4 points, +1 GD
Norway – 4 points, +1 GD
Scotland – 3 points, +1 GD
Belgium – 0 points, -3 GD
The Netherlands put themselves in prime position to earn a Semifinals spot with their 3-2 win over Scotland. Scotland now finds themselves in a tough spot as a draw or loss to hometown Norway will eliminate them. Norway beat Belgium 2-1 to officially eliminate the Belgians. The Netherlands will play Belgium in the final game of the group stage.
Ireland – 6 points, +2 GD
Spain – 3 points, +1 GD
Sweden – 3 points, 0 GD
England – 0 points, -3 GD
England now finds themselves eliminated with their 2-1 loss to Ireland. Ireland still has not clinched a spot in the Semifinals as they can still be pushed out with a loss to Sweden in their final game coupled with a goal differential deficit. Spain recovered from their first shocking loss to Ireland with a 2-0 win over Sweden. They will face England in their last game.
The top two will advance to the Semifinals and the Final Matchday will take place on July 21st in Norway.
