At this point in the 2014 MLS Fantasy Soccer season, many players are either doing really well, or in need of some serious help. Thankfully my team is doing rather well and is in fourth place of a twelve team league.

If there is something all MLS Fantasy Soccer players have learned at this point in the season, it is that the best players in the league are the best players to have on your fantasy team. It may seem like common sense, but honestly, having Dom Dwyer, Drew Moor, Bobby Boswell, Harrison Shipp and Bradley Wright-Phillips on my team, really make a difference.

Thankfully for many players, the season is only half over, meaning there is plenty of time to find winning combinations for your team.

The American Pitch highlights our MLS Fantasy Soccer Manager tips for Round 20.

#1. Dan Kennedy- Chivas USA: The man behind the brilliant run of Chivas USA is goalkeeper, Dan Kennedy. Over the past six games, Kennedy tallied 26 points, which, for a goalkeeper is very impressive. During those five matches, Kennedy tallied three clean sheets against Real Salt Lake, the San Jose Earthquakes and Montreal Impact. His team players the Colorado Rapids this week, a team who is finding it hard to score goals. This could be another big week for Kennedy.

#2. Gyasi Zardes- LA Galaxy: This pick is one of question, currently, Gyasi Zardes is on a scoring hot-streak, but his LA Galaxy play the Seattle Sounders this week. In most fantasy situations, many would turn away from playing Zardes, but because of his scoring hot-streak, Zardes is a must buy/start this week. Zardes tallied 33 points over the past five matches, he even scored twice against the New England Revolution. Make sure he is in your starting line-up this week.

#3. Dom Dwyer- Sporting Kansas City: It feels like Dwyer always gets mentioned every week, but some fantasy owners never get the clue. One thing is established here, Dwyer is mad, why you ask? Because he was snubbed from the MLS All-Star team, proving once again that fans only care about household names and not about talented players. Dwyer has 14 goals on the season, making him a top five goal scorer. Along with his goals, he also has 105 fantasy points. If you want a player that will produce goals, this is the week to have Dwyer on your team.
