The 2014 MLS Fantasy Soccer season is half over, and many players are all over the board with their level of production. Many household names are doing well this season, especially Thierry Henry, Javier Morales and Luis Robles.

While many players of the popular fantasy game are probably learning which players to have on their team right now, many others out there are still struggling to get their squad on track.

This MLS Fantasy Soccer season truly is remarkable for many reasons. One player that truly stands out, among many others, is Sporting Kansas City forward, Dom Dwyer. For those that recall, Dwyer scored just one goal last season, now, in 2014, Dwyer has 14 goals. His scoring abilities are the driving force behind Sporting KC’s first place position in the Eastern Conference standings.

Two other players that deserve the title of “surprise player” are Bradley Wright-Phillips from the New York Red Bulls and Harrison Shipp, the rookie from the Chicago Fire. Each player is crucial to their team’s current run of success. While these players and many more are “must’s” for your squad, it is important to know which players are the best of the best for your team.

Check out the top five leaders at each position in MLS Fantasy Soccer so far this season.
