MLS Poll Question: Biggest All-Star Roster Snub

MLS fans cannot wait until August 6, when the MLS All-Stars take on Bayern Munich in the 2014 MLS All-Star game in Portland, Oregon. The match will feature the biggest and brightest stars for both squads.

While the match certainly is exciting, many fans have taken to social media to complain about certainly players who were left off the roster. For those that do not know, fans get the opportunity to choose 11 players for the roster, than Don Garber adds his picks, along with several other players getting voted in. Similar to years past, this year’s All-Star roster is full talented players, who are more household names, then dynamic players anymore.

Fans agree that Landon Donovan, Jermain Defoe and many others, should not be on the roster for this match. While having the opportunity to watch these MLS legends play is always a treat, there must come a time where fans must realize that the players selected are not good enough to beat a high-caliber European opponent.
