With the Philadelphia Union’s chances at a playoff spot officially over, they will look to end this disappointing season on a high note. They have two games left in the season. One against Sporting Kansas City this weekend and one against the team knocked them out of the playoff hunt, Columbus Crew.

There has been much debate as to what these final two games will be used for. Will we see a younger group of players to get some MLS action? Will the Union try different formations or will nothing change and they just continue to game plan as they have done most of the season?

On the other side of this matchup Saturday night is Sporting Kansas City. They have punched their ticket to the playoffs already so that is one less thing to worry about for them in these final two games. They have plenty to fight for as well though in regards to the ever important seeding of the playoffs.

With one team out of the playoff hunt and one having clinched their spot already, some would think this game there will not be a lot to play for. There is still a lot to play for both of these teams and I want to take a look at what these topics are.

Here are 5 things I think everyone should be watching for when Sporting Kansas City visit PPL park to take on the Philadelphia Union.
