New York City FC Announce Tom Glick as New President
As first reported by New York City FC’s website, Tom Glick is the new President of NYCFC. The Club can also confirm that Tim Pernetti, who joined New York City FC as Chief Business Officer in 2013, will leave the organization after the first game of the 2015 MLS season. Glick will take up his position on February 1st.

Click joins New York City FC with more than twenty-five years of experience as a sports management professional. He spent 14 years in minor league baseball as well as several years in the NBA. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Derby County Football Club, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer for Manchester City Football Club and Managing Director of City Football Marketing.
Glick had this to say:

After two years of laying the foundations for this inaugural season and beyond, we have an incredibly talented team both on and off the pitch. I very much look forward to playing my part in leading and supporting them as we embark on the next and most important stage of our development.”"
The club also confirms that Tim Pernetti will leave the organization after the first game of the 2015 MLS season. What is the reason for the change so close to the clubs inaugural season? Pernetti committed to a new job. He is becoming the President of Multimedia for WME/IMG’s college business.

In regards to both announcements, Marty Edelman, Vice Chairman of New York City FC said:

There seems to be just too many things happening with New York City FC. First the Frank Lampard fiasco and now this. They need to get a handle on these situations and get them figured out. It is becoming more of an embarrassment, more than anything. So far, the expansion club to the south is winning the off season.
