FC Barcelona will face off with Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey final as both look to capture their second trophy of the year

It was a marvelous comeback from Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League final against Liverpool. Sevilla came back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to make the score 3-1 thanks to a double from Coke and a tap in from Kevin Gamiero. The win sealed Sevilla’s third straight Europa League trophy and it guarantees them a spot in the Champions League group stage for next year. It was a controversial win however as there were three separate occasions where it looked like a blatant handball on Sevilla inside the penalty area but nothing was given by the referee. The third goal was also controversial as an incoming cross took a deflection from a Liverpool player and landed straight to Coke who looked to be offside. But the referee didn’t raise his flag and the captain smashed it past Simon Mingolet. Either way, Sevilla are champs of Europe and face a tough test against an in-form Barcelona team.

It was another La Liga title for FC Barcelona as they won their sixth in eight seasons. It was a 3-0 win over Granada that sealed the victory. Thanks to a hat trick from Luis Suarez, the Catalans were able to raise the trophy after Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid gave them a run for their money late. But it’s another trophy for FC Barcelona and they will be looking to add to that in the Copa Del Rey.
