OKC Energy’s Coy Craft (FC Dallas)

A product of the powerhouse FC Dallas youth system, nineteen year old Coy Craft is doing well on loan with OKC Energy. He’s represented Dallas at the past two Chipotle Homegrown matches. This season in the USL, he has three goals and an assist. You can see his eye-catching first professional tally below.

With the departure of Fabian Castillo, Craft could work his way into the discussion for that spot in the future. Being called into camps with the USMNT U-20 camps is a good start. He also notched two assists playing with FC Dallas, against Energy FC in a US Open Cup match this year.

LA Galaxy II’s Ariel Lassiter (LA Galaxy)

The son of “The Dog”, former USMNT striker Roy Lassiter, Ariel Lassiter lives up to his “Goal Puppy” nickname. He has great athleticism and timing for making runs from his forward position. Add those to the natural goal scoring touch that he possesses, and you see why he’s a problem for any USL defense.

This season he’s been limited by injuries, but in his eight USL matches, he has five goals. As he continues to work back into prime condition, and with leading scorer Jack McBean on loan overseas, he will look to propel the second place Los Dos to another deep playoff run with his finishing ability. He scored the opening goal of the 2015 USL Championship match, which LA lost 2-1 in extra time.
