Arsenal fans react to Perez and Mustafi signings

Arsenal fans have been screaming for Arsene Wenger to sign a striker and a center back. Now that he has see how supporters have reacted to the addition of Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi
Arsenal fans have made it very clear how angry they have been at the club’s lack of summer signings. Nowhere has this been more apparent than on Twitter. Every rumor of a star signing was met with excitement only to be followed by disappointment. Then Twitter would erupt with a stream of vitriolic tweets using the hashtag #WengerOut and other language not fit for print.
Here are just a few of the thousands of tweets that have flooded Twitter throughout the summer transfer window.
It’s pretty clear that fans were fed up with Arsene Wenger’s inaction.

Then this week came the news that Arsenal had completed deals for striker Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna and central defender Shkodran Mustafi of Valencia. Two of Arsenal’s biggest needs had been addressed.
You would expect that the same Arsenal fans begging for the club to sign players for weeks would be happy. Of course that is not the case. To be fair many have posted positive reactions. However, proving that there are a lot of Gunners supporters who will never be happy check out the following comments.

Time will tell if Perez and Mustafi are indeed players that can help Arsenal mount a title challenge. Hopefully for the fans they will prove to be good signings. If not, you can expect to see the hashtag #WengerOut regularly on Twitter.
