Chelsea and Monaco players dominates the list of footballers whose transfer values have skyrocketed.

Coming into the 2016-17 campaign, many players who underperformed the season prior are now valued massive future sales. We can honestly say Chelsea starting XI value have blown up because of their outstanding display.

But we’re not just going to focus on the Premier League run away leaders stars. If you look at the five major European football leagues, you’ll find footballers whose values have inflated dramatically. Manchester United’s’ Ander Herrera is the most fitting example from last term. We knew the Spaniard was a top player footballer, but he was lost in the shuffle at United until Jose Mourinho cut him loose this season.

Indeed, players such as Diego Costa and Eden Hazard should be on this list because of their phenomenal performances this season, but the list contains mostly footballers who had a lot to prove coming into 2017 campaign.
