It easily made this transfer window even more exciting. But with this idea in mind, doesn’t that leave room for bad decisions as well? With mediocre teams becoming élite staples in Europe over the course of just a few seasons, its sometimes just an opportunity for Presidents to flaunt their bank accounts. This is where the conjunction of smart buying and players gelling with new leagues comes in. Although we aren’t too far into the various seasons throughout Europe, it’s already clear to see who may have won the battle of the best.
