Diego Fagundez

The golden-boy for the New England Revolution in 2013, Diego Fagundez is incredibly disappointing this season. There was so much hype, excitement and expectation for the rising star.

In 2013, Fagundez tallied 13 goals and seven assists while appearing in 31 matches for the Revs. So far in 2014, Fagundez has found the back of the net five times and assisted on only four goals. While the stats are disappointing, MLS Soccer Fantasy owners all dropped the young attacker very early in the year, myself included.

New England looks to be a solid playoff contender, even without the normal play of Fagundez. If Fagundez can start scoring goals again, just imagine how dangerous the Revs will be come playoff time.
