4. SKC Looking to Build Their Momentum
Sporting Kansas City will go into this match up and look to build their momentum as the regular season comes to a close. They will look to go into the playoffs with as much momentum as they can get.
They had a rough run of form throughout much of August and into the early part of September which had some people worried about whether this team will be a force come playoff time and much of the discussion was with their defense.
However, in the past couple of games, they have turned things around, most notably shutting out the Eastern Conference leaders, DC United. They have also picked up shutouts against Chivas and the Chicago Fire while only losing a hard fought battle with the New England Revolution.
