Bill Hamid (GK)- DC United

Age: 23

Best fit for: England, Spain, France

Hamid is having a career year, and there have been faint talks of transfer surrounding him for quite some time.  Not to mention he’s trialed with EPL side West Bromwich Albion.  With the current crop of American world class keepers all reaching the relative end of their careers in Europe, it’s time for some fresh faces.  Hamid is still very young, and that’s not even in goalkeeper years.  He’s got great hand-eye coordination, and has developed catlike reflexes that rival the great Nick Rimando, another late bloomer who would assuredly be in Europe had he reached his full potential at 25 and not 30.
