Who doesn’t love Roger Levesque?

I know that my daughter and I do. I’m sure that almost all the other Sounders fans in the world do. Roger may not have been the best Sounders player to wear the Rave Green but he was one of the most beloved. How can you not love a player that your most hated rival, the Portland Timbers, absolutely hates. For you non Sounders fans just go Google “48 seconds” and you will see why they dislike him so much. He was also responsible for the winning goal in the 2009 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Final against DC United.

In 3 1/2 years with the Sounders as an MLS club, Levesque made 53 appearances and scored six goals for the Rave Green. Levesque was one of the few hold overs from the Sounders days in USL First Division. Levesque’s more memorable days as a Sounders were during that time when he appeared 144 times and scoring 34 goals from 2003-2008.
