Daniel Sturridge Injuries
Sturridge was one of the World Cup’s bright young stars. His goal vs. England got them back into the game, and although they eventually lost, he brought the game within England’s grasp. He was the 2nd highest scorer in the Premier League in 2013-14, quite a feat considering the highest scorer was also of Liverpool. He was vital firepower for the Reds, especially when top scorer Suarez was out with injury. His presence was felt when he was healthy, but perhaps its been felt more when he’s absent. Liverpool’s lack of a bona fide goalscorer has hurt them this year, more than they’d like to admit.
