Landon Donovan’s MLS career will end in defeat. There will be no party and parade in downtown LA. Instead, Lee Nguyen, Jermaine Jones, and the New England Revolution will come away victorious.

While Robbie Keane deservedly was named MLS MVP for his contributions to the Galaxy, it will be the Jones and Nguyen show on December 7. The Revolution finished the regular season on fire and that has continued in the postseason. Scoring on the road hasn’t been an issue for New England either. They scored four at Columbus and followed that up with two at Red Bull Arena.

The Galaxy’s defense is better than the other teams the Revolution has faced in the playoffs. However, the Revolution’s dynamic duo of Nguyen and Jones has caused havoc. The same will be true come Sunday as the Galaxy try to find a way to contain them both.

Expect a high-scoring affair at the StubHub Center. New England wins 4-3 behind an Nguyen hat-trick.
