The Philadelphia Union came so close to winning the clubs first ever trophy in 2014. Unfortunately they ran into one of the best teams in the league, the Seattle Sounders. They made a mid-season coaching change and look to have found the correct man, for now. They made some questionable decisions when it came to protecting certain players. We shall see how it plays out in 2015.

Just couldn’t quite do it could you Portland Timbers. You missed the playoffs by one point after making it all the way to the Western Conference Finals in 2013. A bit of a letdown if you ask me. I know quite a few Timbers supporters would agree with me on that statement. Just think about this. If the proposed playoff structure for 2015 was in place for 2014, you would have made the playoffs, barely.
Portland is starting over with a new back line as well as a new ‘keeper. 2015 should be fun for the Timbers Army.
