2.) Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris-Saint Germain 2-2 Caen)

Did Zlatan’s post-goal celebration get more attention than the goal itself? Maybe.  Did PSG blow a 2-0 lead vs. Caen, in the process settling for a 2-2 draw?  Perhaps.  But the fact is Zlatan’s goal itself was pretty masterful.  The Swedish international handled an inswinging cross the only way he knew how: stylishly and efficiently.  Ibra’s finish was vaguely reminiscent of a Cristiano Ronaldo goal scored a year earlier, scoring not with the side or even top of his foot, but instead pushing off the ball with his spikes.  And the tattoos? Do not worry, they’re merely temporarily.  But their message is not.  Ever the humanitarian, Zlatan’s faux tattoos were names of children all over the world suffering from starvation. Good goal, better cause.  Now if only PSG had held onto their lead.  And if only they hadn’t lost 4 players to injury ahead of their Champions League clash with English side Chelsea.  Yep, the same Chelsea that eliminated them from the UEFA CL just a year earlier.
