On Sunday, Leo Messi scored the 34th hat-trick of his career with FC Barcelona, equalizing Telmo Zarra’s record, the famous Basque forward from the fifties. Messi has scored 29 times three goals (three of them with the Argentine national team), four times he scored four goals, and once five goals. He is now the 10th leading goalscorer in the history of five big leagues.

Messi continues breaking La Liga records and milestones. In his 300th La Liga game, he matched Cristiano Ronaldo‘s La Liga hat-trick haul (23 times) and he has provided more assists than any other player in La Liga history (106).
