Doesn’t Mind Criticism

There’s no secret that the Real Madrid job is likely the biggest in world football in terms of pressure, as not only fans but also those in control have shown that time after time they are willing to give the axe to anyone underperforming. However, Rafa is no stranger to critics. During his time at Liverpool, both the media and fans gave him hell at times for his squad tactics and zonal marking, both of which he responded to with more success than not.

Playing twin holding midfielders was another move that many slated as a poor defensive move, despite the fact that his 2007/08 Liverpool side scored 119 goals, implying that his teams can have plenty of firepower while keeping strength in the defensive midfield area (h/t Bleacher Report).

Currently, Twitter is having a lot of fan at his expense – many saying that they cannot wait for his eventual demise at Real Madrid. But will it be Rafa who gets the last laugh?
