FC Barcelona came into the 2015 Champions League final as the clear favorites to defeat Juventus, and they didn’t disappoint, although the Serie A champions gave them quite the scare after former Real Madrid man Alvaro Morata equalized in the 55th minute. It didn’t even take 15 minutes for Luis Suarez to punish Gianluigi Buffon’s spill to give Barca a lead that they wouldn’t relinquish, as they in fact added to their tally in the form of a Neymar goal on a breakaway in stoppage time.
It was an excellent performance from arguably the greatest team to be assembled onto a football pitch, and there were heroes scattered across a team that has one of the best players in the world at every position (except for goalie, as Claudio Bravo wasn’t on the pitch).
We have all the match ratings submitted for Barcelona, and the marks are unsurprisingly high across the board.
