LF Neymar 8.0

Full of running and as dangerous as ever, Neymar was the man Barcelona deployed as the guy who used skill to work space and draw out the defense. It worked perfectly in the lead-up to the first goal, and Neymar’s pace caused Lichtsteiner far too many headaches on the right side of Juventus’s worn-down defense. Whereas Patrice Evra prevented Lionel Messi’s insane dribbling from amounting into many clear-cut chances, Neymar simply ran the opposition ragged and deserved the final goal after he and Pedro squared each other up perfectly.

Neymar’s 2014-15 season was beyond incredible, and he showed all of the traits we love in him (the work rate on offense, the flair, and the danger) last night. The Brazilian attacker was truly lively on the ball throughout, drawing fouls, creating chances with his running, and putting in two shots on target.
