Uruguay CAM Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Cruzeiro (21)

Although he is far from proven, Arrascaeta is the type of sensational young player who can get people jumping out of their seats due to his special ability. He’s probably one of the most skillful players in the competition, and he’s also equally adept at using both of his feet. Back in mid January, Cruzeiro spent 3.52 million pounds on the CAM after buying him from Uruguayan club Defensor, and if the rising talent gets a chance to shine, then there’s a chance he could start to receive interest from some anxious clubs in Europe. I mean there were once rumors of him going to Galatasaray.

What is he capable of? I’m glad you asked. Click here for a splendid bicycle click of his in the Copa Libertadores for Cruzeiro, and then there’s this goal complete with a nutmeg. We’ll see if he can take his dominance in Uruguay’s Primera Division and promise at Cruzeiro and turn it into something in the Copa America if given some minutes on the pitch.
