Things are about to be turned up a notch in the MLS this weekend.

There was expected to be two major debuts in the latest slate of games, one being Steven Gerrard for the Los Angeles Galaxy, and the other being Frank Lampard for NYC FC, which has been postponed due to an injury.

While the MLS’ official rivalry week has come and gone, there are a couple rivalries taking place this weekend that could hold some major potential impact.

While DC United rule the Eastern Conference, the west is up for grabs.
