Winner: Claudio Ranieri

Yet another debut was made at the King Power stadium on Saturday as Italian Claudio Raniei managed his first game for Leicester City as they took on Sunderland.

There was an incredible amount of concern about how Leicester City would fare this season after the Nigel Pearson situation and the appointment of Ranieri, but his tenure could not have gotten off to a better start.

The foxes looked like they were continuing their late-season form from last season, which saw them make a great escape from relegation.

They blitzed Sunderland in the first half with three goals, and added another one in the second half to take home the three points in a 4-2 victory.

With this positve performance from the club tabbed for relegation, the doubters are, for at least one week, silenced.
