Real Madrid increasingly confident David De Gea will sign

AS report Real Madrid are so confident that the deal will go through before 11.59pm on Monday night when the transfer window closes, that they are pushing to do the official presentation on Tuesday. The player will be in Madrid on international duty with the rest of the Spanish national squad.

Van Gaal has dropped De Gea from the squad for all competitive games so far, including three in the Premier League and two Champions League qualifying matches.

More from Manchester United

Real Madrid are not in the mood to pay more than 25 million euro and Ed Woodward, executive vice-president, is still feeling sore about being used by Ramos. The media pressure in Britain is growing and influential figures like Scholes and Rio Ferdinand have said that the club should impose itself and convince the keeper that he’s making a mistake.

Despite the differences between both parties, the game has changed: United want to negotiate. Before that was impossible because this bit of business is a dance of two; Madrid holds its breath in the hope that United will sell.

PSG in shock £20million move for Everton star Seamus Coleman

The Mirror report Paris St Germain have offered Dutch international Gregory Van der Wiel to Everton in a £20million part-exchange deal for Seamus Coleman.

The ambitious Paris club are trying to tempt Roberto Martinez to part with one of the Merseysider’s prized assets as the Spaniard fights off yet more unwanted attention.

And they have have offered up a direct replacement for the Irish international in the shape of the former Ajax man.

But it is understood that Coleman would be interested in a move to France – although he will not follow Stones’s path and hand in a transfer request.

However, the deal is a way off being concluded as Everton value Van der Wiel at just £5million, while the French outfit believe he is worth twice that.

In an interesting development, Bayern Munich have also expressed an interest with Pep Guardiola a confirmed admirer of the right-back.

Inter Milan enquire about Liverpool striker Fabio Borini

The Daily Mail report Fabio Borini’s Liverpool career is edging closer to an end after Inter Milan approached the Premier League club over the Italian striker’s availability.

Borini has been marginalised at Anfield since becoming Brendan Rodgers’ first signing as Reds manager in a £10.5million deal in 2012.

Now the Italian giants are set to test the Merseyside club’s desire to keep hold of the striker with a reported £6m offer forthcoming.

The 24-year-old played on loan at Sunderland in the 2013-14 season, and despite impressing for the Black Cats with 7 goals in 32 league appearances, manager Dick Advocaat does not expect the striker to return to the Stadium of Light.

Having only scored once in 18 appearances for Liverpool last season, Inter manager Roberto Mancini believes Borini can resurrect his career at the San Siro, with a four-year contract reportedly being discussed.
