Their substandard grade doesn’t so much come from their 13th position in the Premier League table, it’s more a product of how they’ve played. Their most talented player, striker Saido Berahino, looks to have quit on the club and epitomizes the team’s dysfunction at the current point in time. When you manage to cause one of England’s brightest, young attacking talents to stop trying then you should not expect to receive very high marks.

Truthfully, I thought about dropping them all the way to a D on general principle. Their results have been just slightly below average given their dearth of talent though to be fair. They are skating by in class with a C- but a bad grade on the next test could lead them to flirt with failure and relegation.
