Chelsea-F

If there was a grade lower than F then Jose Mourinho and Chelsea would get it for their performance on the season. They’ve been an absolute train wreck. Mourinho has claimed that there is a conspiracy against Chelsea and as of late, Cesc Fabregas is losing sleep over their poor performance. The defending champions find themselves in 16th place through 12 matches and are only three points clear of the relegation zone. While I don’t think there’s a chance in Mourinho’s living room, that they end up finishing near this low it’s still shocking to watch unfold.

Blame for the poor performance can be spread almost uniformly among Chelsea’s players. They literally don’t have one member of their squad that I can identify as playing even slightly above their talent level. Mourinho’s men have been bad individually and collectively. There’s nowhere for this group to go but up. As a result, they get the ultimate failing grade through 12 matches.
