Bournemouth-C

The newly promoted Bournemouth was one of my toughest grades of the series. They didn’t come into the season with any real expectations of staying in the Premier League and they’ve been ravaged by injuries to Callum Wilson among other key players. While I really wanted to give them an above average grade for staying competitive despite their bad luck, I simply can’t reward teams who are in a position to be relegated with anything higher than a C.

That doesn’t mean I haven’t enjoyed the way Bournemouth has played on the season. I quite admire their willingness to come out and play good football no matter who the opponent happens to be. I’ll be rooting for them to stay in the Premier League for entertainment value, but I’m afraid the injuries will be their demise.
