Manchester City- B+

You may wonder why the top spot doesn’t automatically get Manuel Pellegrini’s men an A and the explanation is quite simple. They are the most talented team in the Premier League, top to bottom, and as such, should be in first place. In fact, given the struggles of Chelsea I believe they should have a fair lead in the title race. Instead, the only hold the leading position over Arsenal based on goal difference.

That simply isn’t enough given the wealth of talent they have. They get a B+ because they have had to do some heavy lifting without their talisman Sergio Aguero. Still, I expect better from City as the season progresses given the stars they have at every position.
