Tottenham-A

Don’t call me a homer on this grade, because I’m making every attempt to be objective. If you would have told me before the season that Harry Kane would struggle mightily through the first 8 Premier League games I would have really struggled to see how Tottenham could survive, much less thrive. Add to that, Pochettino’s discovery of the unlikely defensive midfield pairing of Dele Alli and Eric Dier and I don’t know how I couldn’t give them an A.

The only thing that keeps them from an A+ is their occasional offensive doldrums that pop up when Kane isn’t firing on all cylinders. If they had more of a plan B, they might be able to mount a title push.
