Some of the Premier League’s best transfers are made between two EPL teams. These moves have the unique ability to strengthen one team while dealing critical blows to an opponent in one move.

The January transfer window is called the “silly season” by some, but it’s serious business to clubs within the Premier League. While much of the rumor mill focuses on players entering England from abroad, quite a few transactions will take place between two Premier League clubs.

Of course, these transactions are the most risky because of their dual impact. An intra-league signing can provide the purchasing team a real boost with the arrival of new talent. Any transfer can do this. The added bonus of moves that involve two Premier League teams is that the purchase can rob an opponent of one of its stars. With one stroke of the pen you can strengthen your own team and deal a rival a potentially fatal blow.

So much attention is being paid to transfer targets who may come in to the Premier League from abroad so this article will focus on the more unique transfers that might happen between two EPL Clubs. Read on to find out which four Premier League stars might switch Premier League teams this January. Will your favorite side add a top player from a competitor? Or will your favorite Premier League side send your star packing to another EPL competitor?
