Premier League action rolls on this weekend with a full slate of action. Read on to find out who will win before the games are played.
Stoke at Sunderland- Avert your eyes and make sure no young children have a chance to accidentally watch this match. Stoke, to their credit, are trying to play better football while Sunderland is merely hoping to survive. Look for Big Sam to squeak out a 3-2 thriller at home.
Watford at Aston Villa- Remi Garde laid down the law this week to his side. He banished Jack Grealish to the youth team and look for the rest of his side to get the message even if the youngster hasn’t. Garde’s side will pick up a huge 2-1 win and get out of the Premier League basement.
Everton at Bournemouth- Poor Bournemouth just has too many injuries and is running into a red-hot Everton side at the wrong time. Roberto Martinez’s men will win comfortably and I’d wager Lukaku will add to his goal tally. Take the Toffees 4-1.
Newcastle at Crystal Palace- Alan Pardew will have his Eagles flying sky-high against his former employer. Add that to Palace’s pitiful performance last week and you’ve got the makings of an inspired, bounce back win. Take Pardew’s men to win 3-1.

Southampton at Manchester City- This should be must-watch TV viewing for fans of progressive, attacking football. If Manchester City hadn’t looked so bad against Liverpool last week I’d be inclined to take Southampton in a mild upset. Unfortunately for the Saints, Liverpool really screwed them on this one. City bounces back with a 3-1 win that’s closer than the score line will indicate.
Manchester United at Leicester- This match-up features the Premier League’s most fun team against the most boring side. (If you don’t know which is which you may want to read this site’s archives). Unfortunately, I think boring Louis Van Gaal is going to find a way to get a result. United will win by the narrowest of margins, 1-0.
Chelsea at Tottenham- As a Tottenham fan I’m irrationally convinced that Chelsea is going to regain their form this week at White Hart Lane. With that being said, I’m going to try to make this prediction in a rational manner. Tottenham will be weary early with a bit of a Europa League hangover but will grind out a 2-1 victory.
West Brom at West Ham- Here’s another game no Premier League fans should feel the need to see. West Brom has been dismal to watch and West Ham looked lost last week without Dimitri Payet. I’ll take Manuel Lanzini to have a big match and bag a brace to help West Ham to a 2-1 victory.
Arsenal at Norwich- This match should be a cakewalk for Arsene Wenger’s men. They have a wealth of attacking talent and I just can’t see any way for Norwich to keep hold of the ball enough to win. This will be one of those big Arsenal wins on the road. Take the Gunners 5-1 in a laugher.
Swansea at Liverpool- Swansea might be the Premier League’s most desperate team and they might need a result to save manager Garry Monk. Liverpool, on the other hand, comes in the match feeling great about themselves. Sadly, it might be curtains for Monk this month after Klopp’s side get the home win. They’ll ride the high press to an early advantage and hang on for a 3-2 win.
