Bayern Munich

It would be a treat to see Hazard head off to the Bundesliga to ply his trade. Who better to join in Germany than defending champion Bayern Munich?

So what if Pep Guardiola isn’t necessarily going to be there next season? They still are blessed with a plethora of attacking talent that would only be improved by the arrival of Hazard. He’s got the talent to play for anyone in the world including the German champions.

The thought of Douglas Costa on one wing and Eden Hazard on the other is something that has only been considered before by FIFA online players. It’s enough to keep full backs all over Bavaria up at night. It would almost be unfair, but as a neutral, I have to say that it would be a lot of fun to watch.

Playing at Bayern would also appeal to Hazard because he’d get to play in another one of the world’s biggest and best leagues. The additional TV coverage that’s about to come the way of the Bundesliga will only serve to increase its worldwide popularity so he could remain one of the world’s biggest football stars. Don’t underestimate that as a factor in any Hazard transfer decision.

Bayern doesn’t know who their manager is going to be next season, but that wouldn’t stop them from pushing hard for Hazard in January. You hire a manager to fit world-class players, not the other way around. They’d expect any manager they might hire to find a way to maximize Hazard’s ability.
