Manager Jose Mourinho is out at Chelsea but you can bet he won’t be unemployed for long

The inevitable end of the marriage between manager Jose Mourinho and Chelsea has occurred. The debate can rage on among fans and pundits on whether or not this was the right move for Chelsea or not, but it’s a safe bet that Mourinho won’t be searching for work very long.

Mourinho’s reputation as a manager will certainly take a hit given the fiasco he’s leaving behind him at Chelsea, but he’s still one of the most qualified available managers on the market. It really shouldn’t change his marketability too much. At this stage in his career we have a pretty good idea of who he is and what he can do.

What he can do is come into a club, install a system that can yield silverware in a hurry. He will be a pain for certain players, fans and most of the media, but he will produce immediate results. It’s true, that his shelf life at a club is likely on a couple of seasons, but how many managers truly last longer than that? The point is, he’s a worthwhile risk for a lot of clubs around the world.

So let’s take a look at the five best potential landing spots for Mourinho. Each of the following destinations would represent a good place for both “the Special One” and the club he’d be taking over.
