5. Ezequiel Lavezzi-PSG

The 30-year-old Argentinian international has been the subject of tons of Premier League transfer rumors over the past year or so. His role has diminished as of late at PSG and he’s a virtual certainty to leave at season’s end if not before. He may not be in his prime any longer, but he could still help quite a few Premier League clubs.

The trouble with Lavezzi is that his opinion of his own ability might prevent him from joining a club that could actually use him. He thinks he is a top four player, but I’m not sure he still has that kind of gas left in the tank. Still, he’s a solid bet to join at least a mid-table Premier League side next year if he doesn’t move somewhere else abroad.

What the winger can still offer is an offensive threat off the bench. He still has a great deal of pace and can cross the ball in the box effectively for a team that has an established target man. He isn’t the finisher he used to be, but he still can create chances in the right system.

Lavezzi won’t be the highest profile player to leave PSG after this season, that honor goes to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but he is the most likely one to end up in the Premier League.
