2. Ever Banega-Sevilla

The Argentine midfielder is squarely in his prime and should be a target for almost every club in the Premier League. He’s been in terrific form for Sevilla this season and should be in high demand as a potential free transfer.

The truth is, Banega may never make it to the point where he’s available on a free transfer. Sevilla has been working hard for months on a deal with Banega, but at press date, they haven’t been able to come to an agreement. Members of the club are still confident they can get a deal done soon, but I think they have reason to be concerned. They’ve had plenty of time to come to an agreement so there must be some reason they haven’t come to an accord. They’d be well advised to make a suitable offer soon or else negotiations could really break down.

On the off-chance that he does become available, he’ll be highly sought after. He’s been one of Sevilla’s best players on the season and has a Whoscored.com player rating of 7.33. He’s been equally adept at contributing goals and assists on the campaign and frankly, there isn’t much he can’t do out there on the pitch. If he comes to the Premier League count on him to quickly become one of England’s biggest stars.
