3. Buy Alex Teixeira

Teixeira certainly isn’t a new name for Liverpool fans to consider this transfer window, but the deal has continued to drag on. Klopp will be very anxious to bring in the stylish attacker before the January transfer window slams shut.

The Brazilian midfielder was originally a Chelsea target, but Klopp has looked to swoop in and take advantage of the managerial uncertainty at Stamford Bridge. Teixeira has the potential to really thrive in Klopp’s system.

The only thing that seems to be holding this transfer up is the potential transfer fee. It’s rumored that Teixeira’s club, Shakhtar Donetsk, is looking for 38 million pounds to let go of their most valuable asset. Liverpool has agreed to personal terms with the player, but hasn’t yet come around to stumping up such an expensive fee.

In the end, I think Klopp will push Liverpool hard to get this deal done no matter the cost. With the new television revenue coming into the Premier League, this type of fee will become much more mundane. Liverpool can’t bat an eye if they want to attract dynamic attacking talent to Anfield.
