2. Buy Alvaro Morata

Arsenal doesn’t have to boost its goal scoring options by purchasing a striker, but of course that’s the simplest way to go about it. Purchasing Alvaro Morata from Juventus could solidify their number nine position for years to come.

Of course, buying such a bright striking talent from a club like Juventus isn’t going to be easy or inexpensive. Rumors persist that it could cost a team over 60 million pounds to purchase the former Real Madrid front man.

That’s a big price tag, but Morata has the talent to make it pay off. He’s proven that he can score goals at the highest level with both Juventus and Real Madrid. Crucially, he’s also proved he can make an impact as a substitute. This makes him the ideal purchase for a partner and sub for Olivier Giroud.

Rolling the dice on Giroud as your only recognized striker would be a poor gamble for Wenger and Arsenal. They need to purchase some striking cover and ultimately, a player who can replace Giroud in the lineup. There might not be a more talented player available than Morata in this window.

Purchasing Alvaro Morata would send a clear signal to the world that Arsenal is willing to do what it takes to secure a Premier League title. Can you really put a price on that kind of statement?
