Final say on Daniel Levy

Daniel Levy seems to have finally learnt his lesson from that very unsuccessful summer in 2013 and has now got the basis to build with a fantastic manager and squad with a world-class stadium on its way.

Levy could have easily sacked Pochettino after last season as he didn’t hit the target of securing Champions League football. In previous years managers have been sacked due to this, for example Redknapp, AVB and Sherwood, but he has kept faith in Pochettino and it seems to be paying off. After sensible transfer windows buying some great young talent for cheap prices and selling all the bad eggs and dead wood, Pochettino finally has his own squad of players that can take Tottenham to the next level and Levy seems to be backing him the whole way, which is very rare for him to do. Also, has Levy learnt from buying expensive players that aren’t proven after Soldado? Would explain why he didn’t splash £25 million on Berahino. After all Berahino did not look like a £25 million player against League one opposition last night.

With Tottenham surprising people and going under the radar up to 2nd place in the league, Levy and Poch seem to be taking Tottenham to the next level and onto big things with the new training ground up and running and the stadium around the corner and most importantly a very hungry young squad that has bags of potential and passion.
