Saturday April 9th – Chelsea at Swansea City

Chelsea will travel to Wales to take on Swansea City in a fixture that could decide whether or not the Swans get relegated. They started off the season as dark horse candidates for Europe under Garry Monk but things went awry very quickly.

From beating Manchester United and nearly beating Chelsea to losing to Norwich and Hull City in the League Cup, the Swans fell from grace in a hurry. Monk was sacked and it took the club weeks to replace him, eventually hiring the uninspiring Francesco Guidolin.

Swansea currently sits 16th in the table, just four points clear of the relegation zone with matches against Southampton, Spurs, and Arsenal on the horizon. By the time April rolls around they could be in the midst of a very difficult and unlikely relegation battle and will get no respite from the Blues.
