The Premier League has tremendous quality at the keeper position, but who is the league’s best goalkeeper?

The last few seasons in the Premier League have seen the importance of having a world-class goalkeeper in a successful team.

Goalkeepers are either in the spotlight or not spoke about, as a keeper you are a hero or villain. There is very rarely an in between for goalkeepers and especially in the Premier League because the media coverage is huge and every save or mistake they made is seen and talked about.

Over the years we have seen some of the worlds best keepers play in England and they have been vital members of title-winning squads, such as, Peter Schmiechel, Jens Lehmann and Petr Cech. Each one of them have one Premier League titles in the greatest of fashion and will all be remembered in Premier League history, no doubt that all of them would be in the top ten keepers of all time in the Premier League.

However, are the current group of Premier League keepers the best ever? I shortened down a list of the top ten goalkeepers in the Premier League right now and it was a very hard decision to leave some keepers out because the EPL is blessed to have so many excellent keepers right now.
