3. Juventus
After losing key midfielders Andre Pirlo and Arturo Vidal last season, Juventus had a shortage in the midfield. That void was filled this year with new signings Sami Khedira and Hernanes. But an injury to Khedira and poor form by Hernanes leaves Juventus looking for another midfielder and Gundogan could be the answer to their problems.
Although Juve didn’t seem keen on signing him last summer or this winter they are now interested in his services. Juventus has a very deep midfield filled with a lot of talent as they are the key part of the team. Gundogan would be a great addition and he could offer so much to the team if he were to make the switch to Serie A’s most dominant club.
Sitting in their usual 4-3-1-2 formation, Gundogan would be a versatile piece in that formation. He could be playing right behind the likes of Juventus’s strikers such as Pablo Dybala. Or he could be in a much deeper role and play box to box next to Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio. Gundogan would have to battle with young midfielder Stefano Sturaro for playing time but give an edge to the German if it came to that.
