5. Do not give them too much respect

Even with the tremendous numbers seen in the introduction, Arsenal must keep in mind that Barcelona is a team and all teams are beatable. Every team has a weakness and every team is made up of footballers just like them.

Arsenal are a squad of highly-paid and often world-class footballers and athletes much like the gentlemen in blue and red kits. They may perform better as a unit or have one or two stand out players, but they are still human.

Teams often create their own problems when facing Barcelona by showing them too much respect and giving them too much of the ball by sitting back to defend. This allows the stars of the Barca side all the time they need to pass around the box, eventually making that killer pass or striking from distance. Arsenal must give them the respect they deserve by acknowledging their abilities and no more than that.
