Champions League: 4 ways Juventus can knock off Bayern Munich

Take advantage of a reshuffled Bayern backline and their height advantage
With the injuries to the three top centerbacks in the squad, Pep Guardiola will be forced to reshuffle the Bayern Munich backline. As stated earlier, many believe he will play Alaba and Kimmich in central defense who will be dwarfed by some of the taller players in the Juve side.
Boateng, Martinez, and Badstuber are 6’3″ and 6’4″ respectively and could have easily dealt with the aerial threats of the 6’3″ Paul Pogba and Mario Mandzukic but this is not the case for Alaba and Kimmich who are both between 5’9″ and 5’11”. Even Serdar Tasci is a tad undersized at 6’1″ and would be hardpressed to deal with lofted balls in the box if Pogba and Mandzukic are lurking. Sami Khedira will also pose a similar threat from dead ball situations and could cause all kinds of havoc to the diminutive backline.
Juventus have a decided advantage in the height department and they must exploit that in order to come away with a victory. They have the talent to send balls in to the box from both wings and players like Pogba and Mandzukic must be raring to go to win those aerial duels.
